One of a series taken at the Old Melbourne Cemetary in Carlton.
The cemetary occupies a huge site threaded with roads and trees and old wodden rotundas for quiet contemplation.
These life signs have made there way amongst the headstones, not just in the form of the flowers that mourners may leave but in the stray plant which may sprout in the adjacent ground.
