I am a self-taught pastel, acrylic and oil painter. I was born in The Netherlands, raised in New York and presently live in rural Massachusetts.
My work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
Please visit my website for a more complete collection of works and PastelPup.com where my focus is commissioned pet portraits.
I joined the daily painting movement on the web in September of 2006. As a result I have been creating small affordable pastel paintings ever since.
Although I paint daily, a work is not always completed each day. There are a few benefits to working on small daily paintings. The first is for myself as a painter. Since each painting takes less time than a large piece to complete, I feel freer to experiment and am constantly improving my skills. It also allows more art lovers to become collectors of original paintings since the prices are more affordable. My painting a day blog is where I update my small works.
I recently decided to add some of my best photographs to my collection here at Red Bubble. I hope you enjoy them!
