All along La Seine people take refuge from the daily grind of Paris and modern life. Here you can find many a deserted seat under a tree to park your bike and have a quiet cigarette while you watch the river traffic cruise passed.
The Parisians treat La Seine as a friend and it whispers to them as they quietly contemplate life in peaceful solitude. It takes their worries away to the sea, as it has for centuries

Boy? … maybe. The citizens of your photgraphic world have the androgynous look [again] which is so pleasing for unknown reasons. The “ring” echoing the bicycle is divine in itself, not to mention the aforementioned boy/girl … two separate photos [almost] ! Huzzah!
Well now that you say it… maybe? There may be reasons that “the citizens of (my) photographic world have the androgynous look”, that I am unaware of – I shall ponder that dear Margot. I am increasingly fascinated by the subconscious engine that causes me to lift my camera. Perhaps it would be better not to discover it, for that knowledge might cause my photos to become studied and reduce my enjoyment and surprise. As usual, you have flicked a switch, thank you :-)
Looks like a really cool CD (or maybe record) cover to me. Fab shot Rhoufi.
Record cover for sure – oh how I miss record cover art. Thanks Georgie – there are many more of these to come. I wished I had a longer lens – you can see how blown up this is ;-(
Not in a bad way, it (any signs of blowing up) just adds to the ‘record cover’ feel for me!
It was just my trusty 70mm and it was a long way away – the B+W is best when you crop that hard. RB will only print Small with this one – that tells you something! But who cares, it’s the mood that counts. It’ll work in my planned video. Thanks Georgie
Thank you Georgie, it’s been a fully featured week. BTW check my reply below to 1morephoto for the origin of the title – only the old farts remember that one it seems ;-)

Thanks Meg – can you tell how much I love Paris? Really? Well it has been very good to me over half a lifetime and this guides the camera I think.
