I have searched myself… and found only a thunderbolt! Street PhotographyMelbourne, Chinatown
Whoa. This one’s fabulously intriguing! I love the juxtaposition of those signs! and the scene has such depth to it, like we could walk into for miles.
Hello Robin!! You should see some of the other signs in this street – I’ll do a Dropbox and send the link. It has a real depth created by the sheer brick wall at the end. Cool place though ;-)
A helping of philosophy with your Crispy Peking Duck. Nice B&W Rhoufi.
Well, Denis the philosophy is very easy to absorb when you breathe deeply the flavours of the lane. Thank you, this is a crazy lane indeed.
Lovely work Rhoufi!
My god! Where on earth do you find such an amazing collection of billboards always strategically positioned?!! Great rythm (as always9 in this composition.
Hello Mararia, all these are in one mad lane and getting the right composition is rather tricky, so I’m glad you like it – thank you.
NEAT! thank you!!!!!!!! :)
Ah ha! That reminds me… momento ;-)
Thanks Alan – you’ll have to come with us next time. I led the team here after a bit of zig zagging as you might imagine. There are many more signs than this I have shown.
Laughing out loud now as I get to this image in your trifecta of Chinatown signage images. . . . I am seriously wondering what the Chinese signs say . . . :-D Cecily
Ha, the Chinese signs are really banal! The funny part is most of the signs are Greek quotes!!!!!!!Next time you’re in Melbourne, check it out – Heffernan Lane near QV.
this is such a Cool shot, sir. I like it!it is the thunderbolt , you know, that really counts..HA!Good capture, you……~s
Even the Greeks knew that – Thunderbolts Are Go!Thank you so much for your marathon commenting extravaganza dear Sass. What a catch up. have you been in the air lately – do you have something I can comment on?

Merci encore. Yes a title of a life indeed… but tell me – do you feel you have been steered by the Thunderbolt? ;-) If you come to Melbourne ever I will show this street… there are many more signs for life… as well good Chinese food (two go together!) ;-)
