Not my normal shot, but I was just testing a new 35mm prime lens :-)
Lovely hard light, you are making me long for summer, its only 12C here and -1C at night, but beautiful and sunny !
It was blistering Berns. The extreme heat here seems to burn through your clothes when it gets this hot. We had 47 deg C a few years back and our forest burst into flames. I just love the Spanish heat… got go back for more… sigh :-)
OOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I love palm trees, when the light shines through them!!! It’s magical!! This is glorious!!!!!!WOW!!!!!!!!(Sorry about all those exclamation points; I’m restraining myself)
I love exclamation marks Robin – “you have an exclamation mark, and you’re not afraid to use it”Exclaim at will, by all means. The hard light really made the fronds glow, it was 40 deg C out side the grove
I love these palms, also. This one shot is nearly abstract in the capture of subject and light…
Thanks Sasscara, it was the luminous geometry that drew me into the grove in the first place and the light did the rest.
This really reminds me of a certain dancer in Brazil who rested beneath a sheltering palm to rest and watch…do you recall that image, daor?I seem to recall that you made a comment on that palm.I DO love yours.Peace, sass
I do remember that palm and that certain dancer and our exchange of comments – hard to forget. Imagine if he had turned up here in the small Australian fern glade, ha! Thank you cara, as always.
Light is just perfect. Hope you are having lots of fun with new lens
