Yes, please delete all of that. thank you.
I’ve had a chance to reconsider my reply.
I LOVE this image and hope that she discovers that she has a cloak of invisibility that she can don whenever she feels afraid. It would appear that she has only a short space of darkness to navigate before she walks in the light again. And that the escalator travels upward is a good omen.
Good to see you posting work. I look forward to seeing more.
Please don’t work too hard. your real Job is StoryTeller/Photographer, IMO!
    Walk with vigor and peace,
    Sass

  • Ah Sass, that’s better – all good words now :-) I have been neglecting everyone (including myself) and so I have decided to try to post at least one image each day, just so I feel part of my tribe. It’s just that life has taken some strange twists and turns recently that are hard to control. So nice to have your comment first and I aspire to your opinion dear lady, but I rarely achieve it.

Peace of mind and soul friend… :-)

Rhoufi, this is truly splendid! And yes, do start posting more often, the tribe is missing you.

  • Thank you Evelyn, I need to stop being so eratic and walk slower; tribe is important ;-)

There is always an escape… more or less visible of course :-)
Glad to see you back my friend !

  • I thought you might notice an Alice story :-))) The escalator was actually being projected on a video screen deep in the Attrium, so it looks totally out of place, and the shaft of light just passed over Alice and the tent. I was on the other side of the street trying to make the most of all these elements converging to make my walk so rewarding. And Alice always seems lift us up. Thank you so much, I hope life stops getting in the way of my return – it has been far too intense recently.

Wow! this has music with it, you know? Eerie…tense…the kind that says, “Don’t look behind you…”

It’s so cool! Took me a couple of seconds to “process” it, which is FABULOUS!!!!!
    ::applause::

  • Thank you Robin. Sorry for being so tardy in reply – things have been OUT OF HAND lately. I will get back into the swing soon. This was from a good day’s shoot – lucky light and lucky subjects.

Wow Rhoufi this one is just amazing, love vibrant colours & composition, lady in red shirt adds human component. Well done

  • Yes I could not believe the colours either. It was sitting in the forecourt of Fed Square and the escalator was displayed on the internal video screen at the other end of the Attrium. Don’t know how it all came together so well in one single shot. The afternoon light was shafting across and accentuated the colours against the dark interior. Luck was with me.

How cool is this?! Can’t help but be seized by the colours, shapes and story, instant fav!

  • I too was amazed Georgie (see explanation in comment above). I wish I had have zoomed closer, I did not see the value in this crop until later. Thank you again.
