Oscar Wilde – “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
Oh you are good!!!! Love the lighting! :))
Thank you Di; I resisted the urge to go B+W with this one, just exactly because of the lighting.
Ah, now this is special. Look at his mouth, open in concentration- a precious moment captured here, whether it is God or fire they are in awe of.You have made something very beautiful here.
Thanks Evelyn, sorry this reply is so late, I’m a bit overwhelmed by things at the moment. It is the awe that makes this image isn’t it: one face of wonder and one older than his years. Thank you.
this is a serious business. fantastic shot, there is a great mood and such a singlemindedness…
Thanks Dan, yes that singlemindedness help to stop them moving – I didn’t have much light and the aperture was wide open.
… small boys playing with fire! ;o))Superb capture, Rhoufi!! :o)))
Thanks Elle. Sorry for being so tardy. Couldn’t resist the colour though, not with all that lovely glow.
Of course just boys playing with fire… but maybe they’re building their own philosophy in life watching thais light and THIS is good……..
La philosophie de la merveille, un début parfait à la vie. Merci Magali
Thank you Linda, a couple of perfect subjects – motionless and intense, lucky me, eH?
I certainly see some wonder on their faces but what it is inspired by I’m not sure…terrific image R, love the warm glow on faces, arm and donation box
Thanks Georgie. Oh I remember doing this as a kid and there wasn’t much worship involved, believe me. And isn’t the glow wonderful.
Wonderful lighting here, lovely shot
Thanks Trudi, you can never getting a good one in this cathedral.
I have just the program for juvenile fire-setters! Wonderful capture of fascination :))
And I wonder what that program would be!!! I can now own up to setting fire to a vacant lot in our street as little boy (by accident mind you) and had the neighbour’s blackened side fences to remind me of my foolishness for years afterwards. I hid under the bed when the fire brigade came to see my folks. Least it cleared the long grass ;)))))))))
Great capture! Excellent lighting!
Hi James, thanks for your visit and your lovely comment.
