It’s beautifuly lit Ell. The B+W seems almost richer than the colour. It’s a beautiful Melbourne refuge I have only just discovered.
This looks beautiful Rhoufi….love the lighting. I think it’s The Block Arcade, Melbourne’s most elegant and beautiful arcade, built in the late 1800s. V :^)The Block Arcade
You’re right, it is the Block Arcade. 1800’s – that was the Marvelous Melbourne Era when the gold rush paid for all out buildings. It shows. Thanks V

Thanks Linda, you must have been up late. It was taken in one of our old arcades (Block Arcade) – very popular these days.
Thank you Tereza, I see you are used to turning your camera up to the ceiling also – I must come and cruise your gallery. Thank you for the visit.
Well seen;) a lot happen up there;)
It must be late in Lisbon! These arches do look strange, the way they are off-centre – makes for an interesting photo though. Many thanks.
Yes that is what attracted me;) I wonder what the plan looks like. It’s 11.35 pm in Lisbon;)
It’s 9:35am in Melbourne, ha! For a more complete view of Block Arcade have a look at these RB images – it’s quite beautiful:
I must start work now. Great to talk to you Tereza, I will visit your gallery to night (your morning !) :—))
