Oscar Wilde – “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
Ohhhh, superb angles light shadows Rhoufi!! :-)Please add to the Black and White Photography group when you get a tic :-)
What on earth are we both doing up at this hour!!! Have already added to B+W Photography Group. Thank you being around to see this so soon. This B+W is becoming addictive. Off to Nod Land now, wave :—))
Thank you so much Linda. It’s my ongoing fascination with city geometry and B+W. This looks so much better in B+W.
Thank you Brett, I will visit your gallery soon as well.
Wow! I love how you did this. It shows the weight of that structure, the BIGness of it. And the dark figures are mysterious. VERY cool!!!!
Thanks Robin, this is one of those images that came alive when converted to B+W. To put it in perspective – when I tilted my camera straight down from this frame and took another shot, this is what I got: Waiting For Miracles
So you can see that the space is really interesting. It is one of more interesting spaces (visually) except that it does not work well for people. Many international students (very rich ones) live in the apartments that surround the space.
This is the space on Google Earth
Hope that worked. If it did you will looking directly down on the open space and will be able to see the tables and chairs that “Waiting For Miracles” was shot at. Cross fingers. Cheers
Fab lines Rhoufi!
Thanks again Georgie. This is another one I would not have posted in colour. The polished metal, the argumentative geometry and the dark, almost silhouette appearance of the figures just emerge in B+W.
Thank you so much Ell. I just love getting a B+W featured, especially in the B+W Photography Group. :—))
Thank you Vaggypar, I appreciate your comments very much, I’m trying to improve my B+W work, and this helps me understand what works.
Thank you Scott, I will be over to check out your Gallery more completely – it’s huge and you go everywhere. Thanks for the visit.
nicely done rhoufi I think you have an eye for B&W
Boy have I been slow to reply this week – too busy with the day job I’m afraid. Thanks for your comment I really want to improve that B+W eye.
