Superb image Rhoufi, very much love the feeling of movement in this :-D

  • I’ve had this for a while and was never too sure to post it or not, but with all the enthusiasm from you, Georgie and Ralph, I thought I’d pop it up and see how it goes. I love the way the leather seems so soft in the photo – it almost has texture you can feel. I was too close with the 70mm prime but what the heck. Glad you like the movement.

yes I agree with ell love the movement and the shiney textures so well isolated in the mono shot

  • You’re right, Christine, that’s what brought it to life – the mono suited the black leather perfectly. Thanks.

This is going to sound weird but I can “hear” this shot! Very cool Rhoufi.

  • Thanks Georgie. Well, I’m surprised she couldn’t hear the mirror slap – I was sitting so close. But really, I know what you mean. When I converted to B+W, the leather and the slight blur combined to almost emanate a kind of texture and tactile and audio are closely aligned in the senses. Great comment though, very pleasing to know my photo has “noise” that is not digital :—))

Oh…where did I park my ride? Could have sworn it was right there..uh,uh…
    Oh, no….Sxxt, not again…impounded…..crap…but I paid those tickets…."
And on it goes…the internal chatter…provoked by the squeaky looking wrinkles in a leather
Jacket. Your stories are sooooooon good. Love them, even the ones I make up to fit your pictures;)))))
Peace of the autumn winds to you,
    Sass
