Such a calm, peaceful and quiet time. Awesome capture.

  • Wow, I just love it when someone makes such a nice comment 30 secs after posting a new photo. Thank you Barbie (I can’t call you Auntie?). This is a beautiful cathedral. I hadn’t been there in years (if at all) – well worth the visit.

oh great stuff Rhoufi, beautiful perspective, serene atmostphere, the colour is sublime.

  • Thanks Aart. Serenity is exactly the atmosphere. But it was Sunday afternoon and there were only about tten people there? I have some more to post, like this but thought I needed at least one this week. Thanks for being so quick, I really appreciate it.

    Great image Rhoufi! :-)

  • Thank you Linda. I iked the particular colour wash more than standard sepia, it sort of suited the subject. Glad you like it.

    Excellent shot!

  • Thank you Angela, processing post capture is new for me, but I wanted to try this particular colour because I think it suited the stone and the mood.

Such a small physical presence in a huge structure…wonderfully done:))

  • Thanks Ralph, that’s exactly the impression I was trying to achieve – all that glorification and in the end it is for the everyman amongst us, no matter how small.

BTW, thank you for putting me on your Watchlist; I really appreciate that.

    very nice well done

  • Thanks Christine, I’m getting a bit more adventurous. But it’s still the loner in the landscape that attracts me :—)))

Love this image it is just superb, it really does capture emotion

  • Thank you Judith. It’s what I really look for when taking photos, but opportunities come up so infrequently. I can see why photographers get into staging their shots in a studio or in the street – but this has no attraction for me at all. The moment is so much more genuine when it’s candid.
