Oscar Wilde – “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
On Saturday, 22 June, in Federation Square, Melbourne, the “Light in Winter” Festival featured several street performances. The individual events were badly publicized and still there seems to be no internet information about the writers and performers. This is just one of the actors who brought a cold night on the stones to life. I wish I could give you the credits, but I can’t find anything about these wonderful performers.
What an amazing collection of images! How strange there’s little information!
Thank you Mel. Such good actors should be credited better than that. I’m working on finding out what the troop was and I’ll update these when I find it.
Your photos are amazing, Rhoufi, I’m sure the performers would love to see them too! Good luck!
Thanks Mel, I’m slowly working my way through them and when finished I’ll make a little video of the stills. I’m loving this project – I get so little opportunity to take portraits and these people are just so expressive.
Love the light and shadows on this beautiful face. And the gesture , swathed in greenThe pensive eye magnetizes…Yes, this is an immediate favorite1!!
Daor Sass, I am truly taken by this series, I love these people, they have given me such wonderful subject matter for a form of photography I cannot normally find. Thank you for the favorite and your enthusiasm :-)
you have aroused a hungerfor portraiture in me…That is the real value of ART~to arouse appetite in viewers to go forth and CREATE. Tu sabe?
Until this series daor, I thought I would never find subjects for portraits; and then all these (and more to come) were handed to me on a plate. Candid portraits make me feel like I have really witnessed the real person. To inspire to to create double fold – Lo sé, a ciencia cierta, cara :-)
Thank you Stephen :-)
