Snow monkey
This older monkey was nodding off in the warm water. I can imagine it’s much more pleasant sleeping here than out in the deep snow. If any of you have seen the movie “Baraka” this reminded me of the opening scene. In fact that movie was what prompted me to head up into the mountains and see these monkeys.

this trip was just a short one, weekender, to see the monkeys. just one night in Nagano before heading back down to Tokyo
