Here's Looking at You, Kid

We stayed with family in Washington State for a few days before and after our Alaska cruise, and we spent one of those days at my cousin’s family cottage right on Puget Sound. The Bald Eagles, which are wuite plentiful in that area, gave us a “show” that even impressed my two native Washington cousins!

I know, I have seen them but just not very often. This year I have seen alot of Osprey. I am toold that there is one near the Charlotte ferry dock.

This is a special view of an eagle (I think, at least) due to the “LOOK” he gives, the beauty of the tree/water framing of him, and how close up you came. Nice job!

Thank you so much, Cheri! The bald eagles were all over the place that day…hanging out in trees, bothering smaller birds, who were upset, because the eagle was there, flying around…. It was like they were putting on a show for us!

Thank you so much, amarica! This was another magical day, only in Washington State, rather than Alaska. The Bald Eagles were everywhere…it was like eagle overload!
