This piece by Las Vegas Artist Jerold Frederick Sowles AKA Rhinovangogh was first shown at the Georgetown Gallery in Washington DC. The artist’s model Hyacinth Yun is featured in many of his works. This painting depicts a woman separated from her home shores by a vast ocean. Like the Japanese fishing bouy by her side, she has traveled a long way but remains intact. Waiting at the water’s edge she remains marooned.
