The Big painting.

Hi all, I am funny about staying in touch. I try to comment on art that moves me or my friends that are experiencing something or other and posting it. Meanwhile I work and then paint when I can. I am currnetly working on a very large canvas that has me hypnotized. I stare at it for hours trying to see if I can add additional things without ruining the composition, destroying the color schem or jerking the viewer’s focus away from where I want it to be. The piece is a work of respect and an homage to artists like Van Gogh who edeavor but might not see wealth from thier efforts. It is morphing into a tribute to one particular artist and then my beloved Hyacinth who patiently waits for me to be recognized etc. I think it is a metaphor for perseverance and the irony is very Quixotean, but it…
