This work by Las Vegas Artist Jerold Frederick Sowles AKA Rhinovangogh was first shown at the Georgetown Gallery in Washington DC. Inspired by a Shakespear play the artist watched before coming home to paint this piece. The actor holds a Lily symbolizing rebirth, The Bulldog depicted is also named Lily (RIP) the former pet of dear friends and former DC neighbors Tim and Diane. The artsist paints Vincent Van Gogh art on the walls as he looks through a portal of time where a dove floats beneath a moon. A distant arch reveals villlas in France under a cloudy blue sky. Coy fish tantalize waiting Penguins as the master looks on.

    Thanks Ming. This was actually inspired after I saw a Shakespear in DC. I had great seats front-middle and I was so captivated by the costumes and the actors and thier delivery that I figured I should put more expression into my art…So glad you lie it. Cheers, Rhino
