Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

I made the muddy pilgrimage to my favorite old maritime relic at Stony Point…every time I visit the old girl, she seems to have collapsed a little bit further into herself as the relentless waters of Westernport takes its toll.

Canon 5D MKII 17-40L 50 seconds at F22
With a little bit of help from the Hoya ND400
Five shot HDR and some intensive layer masking.

Great to see another shot of this from you Mark, the only photographer to ever to bother to wade out in the mud to it – and worth all the effort!

  • G’day Nick….yeah, I’m the only tool who would destroy a perfectly tripod for one shot…….

Lovely use of HDR and superb long exposure, the movement in the sky is wonderful and helps highlight the subject.

  • Many thanks David…I enjoyed working on the PC with this one…

A bit of help from your super’pod no..!..Love that super long exposed sky and rusty tones…Great work in the mud Mark..

  • Funny you should say that Rob…I eyeballed the super’pod in the garage the other day and thought what moron would destroy a perfectly good tripod for one shot…so I figured I had better revisit the location….feels kinda strange getting a shot so close to home…
