This is an old ferry abandoned long ago on a mud bank at Stony Point in Westernport Bay only five minutes from my home. I have never seen it photographed before probably because it requires a two hundred metre walk through waist deep mud. I had to add lengths of gas pipe to my tripod to make it secure…..it was worth it.

This is gorgeous! Beauty and the beast?

  • It certainly is an old beast…loads of character though, thanks Sarah-Jane.

A gorgeous photo. Something so old and dilapidated can still make for a beautiful photo. Top stuff
