S.N. Makeham

US-born Australian artist, S. N. Makeham, lives in Perth, Australia with her husband. She has one son who still lives in Texas and is also an artist.

Mrs. Makeham received her AAS in Photographic Technology from Amarillo College, Amarillo, Texas in 1992.

After marrying her husband in 1998, she move from Amarillo, to Perth, Western Australia. Mrs. Makeham is active with her husband in several church and para-church ministries, as well as being a free-lance graphic artist and web designer. She also designs dolls and other fibre art projects.

“I learned most of what I know at my mother’s knee. I grew up learning to paint from my mom, as well as other creative eneavours. As I was growing up, everyone KNEW that to give me a blank anything was like giving me a blank canvas.

As I grew older, I found myself gravitating more and more to the camera and less to the painting side of things. I still paint, but the photography has taken over. LOL!

I also love to quilt. And make dolls and…….. ;o)"
