The brilliant Mr. Baxter tells me that I’ve just sold a Large Canvas Print of my work Fiori di Como!
I’m pleased as punch at this news, and my eternal gratitude goes out to the anonymous buyer somewhere in America! It’s my sincere wish that this work brings great pleasure and delight to its new owner for many, many years to come.
Mr. Baxter has just passed along the good news that I’ve sold another Klaatu Barada Nikto 2 T-Shirt, this time in light blue. That’s the third one in the past couple of weeks, so I suspect there’s a classic Sci-Fi movie fan lurking out there who wishes to share their passion with their loved ones this season. I’m grateful!
I just received an e-mail from Mr. Baxter reporting that I’ve sold another Samsung Galaxy S3 case of my work Burnished! This time an anonymous Androidian purchased a “Tough” version, rather than the snappy “Snap” style, which isn’t tough to take at all!
I seem to recall a statement made by Redbubble some years back that they were different that all those other on-line photo and art stores because they were a community that focused on the artist, and implied that they didn’t impinge the integrity of their contributing members by offering such low brow items as coffee mugs and mouse pads.
I was flabbergasted at the discontinuance of matted prints, which were the basis of my sell-from-home business. I was concerned about the direction RB was taking when they brought out totes and pillows, but I embraced the opportunity for a wider market. But I cringed at the introduction of duvet covers. Now we have the brilliant and inspirational lowest-common-denominator coffee mug.
The ever-cheerful Mr. Baxter has just informed me that I’ve sold a Samsung Galaxy S3 Snap Case of my work Burnished. This is thrilling news, and I hope the anonymous Androidian brandishes their spiffy new phonewear with pride and panache!
I just received another e-mail from Mr. Baxter with the great news that I sold a Greeting Card of my work Colander. Many thanks to the anonymous purchaser. I will dutifully deposit the CA$0.24 into my iPad Pro Acquisition Fund!
Mr. Baxter has just informed me that I sold a medium size Photographic Print of my work Bells. This image is one of my personal favourites, taken on the first photographic outing with my first DSLR in August 2007, and is also my first serious attempt at HDR processing.
Many thanks to the anonymous purchaser. You’ve really made my day!
