    It was really interesting to see the different stages and additions in these amazing buildings. This was the more ornate ceiling. I’m putting up a different ceiling from the same cathedral tomorrow – far less ornate, but still very beautiful.

    Thanks for the comment. The bright spot was left in to say “oooh, whats out there”, and to deliberately distract. Its kind of what I like to do – distract with the inclusion of an annoying compositional element. If you reckon it doesn’t work.. cool…
