Not Pepper Spray... Rubber Bullets... Or Blood by

2011 Abstract Acrylic on canvas 20×20″

From New Series… I’m Mad As Hell… And I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore

2nd in this series of limited pallette, small asbtract studies, 16×20″ to 30x 40" for large commissioned work client wants to exhibit… (I very seldom post commissioned work) When college costs rise every year, as do the salaries of top college officals and bums we call our representatives in congress… students are left with no choice but to protest, and occupy, and neither pepper spray, nor rubber bullets, nor blood will kill an… “Idea Whos Time Has Come”… as with the rest of the country that find they can’t feed their families

occupy, acrylic, abstract, college, bums, representatives, congress

As a self-taught working artist, I have always believed that we are all blessed with gifts. It’s up to us to recognize and develop them; to what extent we will use those gifts to benefit others that cross our path.

Excellent depiction. Like how you’ve shown the people, the blood and the pepper spray. Really like the eye in the upper left, watching. Can see the feeling of forces clashing. Enjoying the technique.

The 1% is totally out of control. Recently the government confiscated an 881 lb. tuna, from a fisherman because he caught it with a net, and not with a hook. What happened was that a tuna fish corporation wanted the tuna fish and didn’t even want to pay for it. The tuna fish corporation (like Tuna of the Sea) had their govt. friends do them a favor, and confiscate the fish for nothing. Talk about Fascist.
Police brutality is out of control. Suspend them without pay! RAISE THE TAXES ON THE RICH! RAISE THE HELL OUT THEM!!! They benefit the most from the system, so, they should pay the most. Boehner should be ashamed of himself. All of those fat policians, wall street, and university chancellors need to go! They want to sacrifice nothing, and expect to live their lives on the backs of the 99%.. What do we want?? Higher paying full-time jobs, none of this where men and women have to work 2 or 3 part-time jobs to make ends meet. Benefits for employees of huge corporations like Wal-Mart. Higher taxes for the rich. A different Congress that doesn’t work for greedy corporations and wall street.
Great painting! Keep painting for the people. These supposed Christians, and mind you, I am not judging them, their behavior speaks for itself. These so-called evangelicals are the worst. They would bleed the most vulnerable dry to benefit the top 1%.
May God have mercy on us all! May God bless you!
