This painting I finished on Dec 31st of 08 for a Jan 2, 09 exhibition start, the last of 7 new works for this show. Then I had to get right back to work on 15 new paintings promised for an early Mar 09 show (what was I thinking to promise 15 new works) I completed 19 new paintings on Mar 1, 2009 (average size 48×48″ ) on canvas building the frames and strecthing canvas on the large pieces. War Dance, and Crossroads are 2 of the larger ones.
As a self-taught working artist, I have always believed that we are all blessed with gifts. It’s up to us to recognize and develop them; to what extent we will use those gifts to benefit others that cross our path.
