Clifford
2004 Charcoal on paper 17×22”
One of my all time Jazz favorites, Clifford Brown better known as Brownie was a great trumpet player in the early 1950’s
tragically he was killed in an auto accident going to one of his jiggs, in the middle 1950’s ‘55 I believe I’m have to look it up. His music his trumpet playing great notes. He was only 25 at time of his death.
