One of my favorite films of all time, so I had to finally make something for it, Kaneda’s jacket pill design, as shown in the film, which any long time Akira fan will know is always blue & pinkish/orange, not white/blue or yellow/blue.
Now all redbubble needs is a red hoody to put this on!
And yes I’m aware an akira pill design has been done endless times before, but this is my take on it, my version has some small alterations/improvements, and some weathering, I mean what biker gang members jacket has a perfect untouched design on it? lol

I love this design and the movie, You should add the “good for health, bad for education” motto around it.

Very true; a biker’s jacket would wear overtime – but I see those scratches in a different way; hallucination, fuzziness in the mind – the name ‘Akira’ was constantly being rang in Tetsuo’s mind while he was in the lab – those streaks in the pilll can allude to the fuzziness in Tetsuo’s mind as he kept hearing the name of someone he didn’t know.
