Frustration with trying to use the forums here. belongs to the following groups:
The PatchworkI don’t know if its just because I don’t know that many people here or what. I tried to use the critique feature in the community forums and no one is responding. Maybe it doesn’t need any work because its done.. but if thats the case people could at least say that. Instead of skipping over my Critique request entirely.
Im hoping the few people that do know me. All you wonderful people that have complimented me by adding me to your watched list, or favoriting my designs and commenting on them could possibly take a look and let me know what you think.
I was going to paste a link to the critique, but I might as well just have you guys look at it right here and comment here. So the below is my post from that forum, and I would love it if you could give me your opinions, whether “Its great” or “Maybe ‘this’ should be bolder”. Thank you.

_thats basically it, I know I have some details cropped out, but Im hoping this will be good enough for you guys because otherwise to see the details this image would have to be enormous.
A little background on the inspiration for this. There is this religious group in america called the Westboro Baptist Church and they are insane. they have a website and its called godhatesfags.com they go around protesting at soldiers funerals saying that they died because america supports rights to gay people. Most recently they have pledged to protest at Heath Ledger’s funeral and at any memorial services for him simply because of his portrayal of a homosexual in Brokeback mountain.. there is a ton of info on this group, and you need not go any further than simply going to their website to understand the extent of their craziness, but be my guest and research further if you wish.
anyway it all pissed me off to a point where I needed to vent it out in the most positive way that I could, so i did this design as my personal protest to their bull._

i think it’s beautiful danielle…the colour and composition and the bold triangle…as far as design goes i think it’s fantastic. the subject of the design is also excellent. it’s a subtle image about an issue that i can’t believe still exists, so hats off to ya.
as far as the forums go… i’ve never used them…

yeah there is a critiques forum.. and its a shame that noone knows about them or participates in them all that much because its such a great option to have. To have multiple eyes on a design and giving you feedback on it. I mean if something just doesnt look right or the colors are off..
anyway, I did rework the design a bit.. just with the colors of the shirt, and I gave a shirt option for men. they could have it in grey and girls in red. hope you guys check this again..
