Inspired by the likelihood that we all, that is all life on this planet, may have evolved from extraterrestrial life-forms.
Kind of an abstract combining, my old favourites, celestial formations and a somewhat alien, yet human-like face.
Created in Photoshop CS 2 and the Photoshop CS5 demo. Been working on this over the past two weeks.
Photo of self used.
Stock used – NASA’s great shot of Saturn.
Created for the Imaginify competition.
Music by Tangerine Dream – Atem

Great concept, awesome layering! Do you find a universe difference (CS2 vs. CS5)? I REALLY want to download that trial version!! But my laptop is such that I doubt if it will handle it. CS2 pushes the poor old relic to the limit as it is and the last thing I need, is another crash! If you get a sec maybe you would share some thoughts on this… Outstanding work and Best of Luck in the challenge! (Hate the timing as I’d also love to enter!)

p.s. You mentioned music but it isn’t here, you may want to check the link

  • Thank you very much Nadya. Much appreciated.
As for CS 5 yes there are some great new things (3D capability for one) but I’ve haven’t really explored them as much as I should have but I would just love to get the new version. I had to download the demo version onto another computer because it is just too much for my main computer (11 years old), which is struggling to keep up as it is.
I have just added that video link for the music.
