Lifeform from one of the small gaseous planets in the Eighth System. Disparagingly dubbed “mutants” and shunned by others in that system we maintain harmonious relations with them.
Known for their ability to transform into anything they please. Shapeshifters.
Omnimorphs. There are many names for them. Although in their normal state they are humanoid in appearance, obviously, genetically they possess some very unique traits. They have a QN chromosome in their DNA which gives them that ability. This ability requires them to “sleep” for periods of up to a week every six months in order to maintain good health. Although apparently conscious during this sleep period they are, in fact, what we call asleep.
This one photographed in an amniobaric chamber in which they regularly use for achieving higher states of consciousness. Oddly, this procedure is accompanied by sounds that remind me of whales back on Earth long ago.
