Mother crow,
What do you know?
What lessons learned
Would you bestow?

Your natural instinct
Of being succinct
With nature’s way
Always in sync.

What would you bestow
That man should know,
To stop our dealing
Mother Earth’s death blow?

Mother crow,
What do you know?
What lessons learned
Would you bestow?

  • OH Pols, what great things to say… thank you so much…. I have been so fortunate to capture these images of the clever birds. I think the high-key effect brings out the fine details better than color can.
Glad you enjoyed the poem too.

I love crows ! This is wonderful :)

  • As do I… I could watch them all day. We have several that hang out all around us. When I hear then cawing I know something is going on… Usually a hawk trying to aggravate them… :o)
Thank you for stopping by Renee…
