a little inspiration

Not my own music, just love this

A little abstract write to go with an abstract image.. .

The Sky is Low a poem by RestLeSsD

Perception lost,
The day has gone
The trees, no leaves
Become my home.

A moon does rise
Into the sky
It casts no shadows,
I wonder why.
I look away,
I start to cry.

The sky is low,
Variegating clouds,
The sky is low,
Overhead a shroud.
The sky is low,
It makes no sound.
The sky is low,
It holds me down

Perception found,
Tears now decrease.
Home with the sky,
My fear does cease.
Perception found,
I am at peace.

The burned trees were taken from the 10 freeway just outside of Banning, CA., USA. The moon was shot from my front yard in Canyon Lake, CA, USA when we had the Full Flower Moon in April 2012
My own photographs shot with a Kodak EZS MAX Z995. Originals post processed in PSCS5.5, processed with the Fractalius filter on layers using blending modes.
