At end of day
When the sun takes leave
And the moon drifts high
Oh, do not grieve.
Tis the time to find
Your way back home
To set in for the night,
No more to roam.
The mist unfolding,
As clouds float by
Embracing the moonlight
On the burnt orange sky.
Farewell to the daylight
Goodnight to the sun.
Rest well little birds
Today’s work is now down.

On my way home from Aguanga today (12/4/11) I saw a lone tree on a hill. The sun was just starting to set. I stopped to shoot some photos. Just as I was taking the first few little birds started to fly into the tree. I am so thankful & was so thrilled; the birds just continued to flock into the tree.

2 of my own photographs of the same subject blended in PSCS2. Tonal adjustments using levels. All birds are real & not added.

Lovely capture. The colors and the birds in the back are what really make this.

Thanks so much Anna… You’re right… and they weren’t there when I first stopped… they just all started flying up into the tree. I was overjoyed when I saw this… very glad I stayed the extra few minutes.. It was well worth it!!
