Just a creation of a shot I took of a gathering of birds in a tree in my neighborhood. I wanted this to have a sketch feeling to it.

Original shot with a Kodak EZS Z915. Edited in PSCS2 using layer blend modes & desaturation. Used a DAP layer along with a highpass layer.

Wow, this is fantastic! You know how much I love my birds.. If I saw this, I’d probably pass out haha :)

  • Ha ha…. I do know you love your birds :o)
We have sooooooo many sparrows around here. I wanted them to be different than just plain brown birdies so using a high contrast helped to bring out slightly more details. I’m happy you think it’s fantastic, thank you so much!!

Awesome capture. Great tonality and contrasts.

  • Thank you Bunny… I was happy with the contrast, it really was a junk photo that I wanted so much to save. Glad you like how it turned out :o)
