A Poem by Rhonda Strickland
All the Stars are weeping
As Mother Earth and Father Skies
Ache with the pain of decay
Trying to hold back their cries.
This beautiful planet we call Earth
Struggles from pillage and rape.
Her bountiful treasures torn asunder
Leaving her trapped beyond any escape.
Save a prayer for her each day
It’s really a prayer for you and I.
For if she perishes from our greed
It’s not just her who will die.

Rhonda, this image is awesome. I can see so much in it. I can see the earth at the top with two hands either side holding orbs. Then down the centre there seems to be egyptian like figures and at the base is an apple. Everything seems to be moving outwards at great speed or more likely everything is moving inwards towards an implosion. Image and poem go together so well, Rhonda and the whole concept is as I said before, awesome.
Thank you Sue – - I showed my son & he said something similar… He thought it looked like a coming together or moving inward, not a tearing apart. .
I am so glad you saw all that I put into this. . .
Hugz,
Rhonda
