Seems as though I’ve been here before.
But it’s not a case of Deja vu.
You see it’s not the same as it was
Whenever I belonged with you.

I love you yet I really can’t.
The distance between us has grown.
What was once so rich and sweet
Has become pressures so full blown.

I’m standing in the middle again,
Standing in-between.
I’ve questions that once were answered,
Now someone has made me think.

Yes, I have been here before.
What do you do when you know?
Something you thought you were sure of
Suddenly you really don’t know.

I’m in the middle again,
Standing in-between.
Those questions I thought were answered,
Are answers I’ve never seen. . .
