Again, conflicts press heavily upon me.
I ask if what I do be right?
I weigh the thoughts inside of of me,
Longing to answer my cries with insight.

Changes have come so quickly;
I am not as I was before.
Yet through these I still ponder,
Have I come to another door?

Will someone not listen?
Will someone not hear?
I ask for understanding
Yet am confronted with fear!

I am not alone,
But does anyone see
These unanswered questions
That now trouble me?

Perhaps I ask too much.
Perhaps I am unfair.
All I know is unknowing
And my continual tears. . .

Contrasting beauty with pain. The outside world’s perception was of a happily married, beautiful young wife & mother. Inside was a different story. Not the DREAM but a NIGHTMARE. . .

A collaboration – a photo of my youngest sister Linda taken by my middle sister Lana. I scanned it & used a decay technique in Photoshop using masking, texture & displacement maps

– - Insight: At times this was how I saw what was happening to my sister when her husband (now ex) would belittle her & tell her no one but him would ever want her.
Always beautiful, she is now happily remarried and a very successful business executive for a large company – him, not so much. . . karma. . . . :o)

    Well, when I 1st signed up here I was so excited I uploaded several images that were optimized for the web. I didn’t realize at the time that we could make nice full size prints so – - now I’m going back & finding the original work files and “redoing” them for print…
