Inspiration - respiration
I`ll have a lot to say about this, and then I`ll have nothing..which goes with the theme really.
So I`ve been un-inspired for a little while now.. I`ve had a lot of other work on but I`ve been wanting to do something for myself, just to shake it all off.
But what type of work can I do if I`m feeling without inspiration?
Then a thought came into my head…
A long time ago, I was told that the word inspiration translated roughly into “breathing of the spirit, or breathing of the spirit of god” in Latin. I`m no latin scholar, but it seemed to make sense..
Both inspiration and respiration seemed to have similar elements, and when I thought about how someone feels when a truely inspirational idea comes to you, I could see it relating..(if there are any Latin scholars here, i`d like to know if it`s even remotely accurate). But, accurate or not, It`s something I`ve thought before..
So with that in mind, I figured what the spirit giveth, he also taketh away, crushing it right out of my lungs. (self portrait even) I`ve used being un-inspired as my inspiration. Back to the basics, nothing but line work, no colour, no fill… and damn I enjoyed doing this.

Oh yeah, you can view the graphic itself on a white shirt, but I`m sticking with black for the preview. It`s how I`ll be purchasing it, and i think it suits the whole deal.

I`m assuming the um, is because you your seeing an empty black box…. Maybe I`m playing a game with you all, or maybe change the colour of the preview colour, both could be right really.

Well Sweets, the black tee sure had me going for a minute…..and you know I accepted it like that? LOL
Anyway, much to my delight as i changed colours I discovered a “Monty Pythonesque” graphic that had me thinking many a thing actually…...
As for your lack of inspiration, well…...I just think you’ve been a little occupied…....;)

Finally got around to getting this photo done…
It`s better in person for I am terrible with a camera, it`s subtle, I like it … Exactly what I was going for.. The black ink is nice and black, but reflects light, whereas the shirt doesn`t..

Just across from my house is a black wall, and in black paint someone has stenciled “beware of ninjas”
This reminds me of that. I show off that particular stencil to visitors all the time if we walk past which I think makes this a compliment :)
