Another idea about using the T-shirt colour itself as part of the design..
There is no black at all in the design, so there won`t be any hard edged black on black when printed. I think this will only work on a black T though…

Wow! Love this ….the red looks superb – I don’t know that it would have the same feeling of impending doom with any other ink colour!!
