While I could well be described as cynical, this is actually very heartfelt..

You’ve just become one of the most inetersting artist on both redbubble and deviantart.com, that I’ve seen so far. Awesome!

  • Scott Robinson replied

Hey thanks Aktasli.. I just do what I do, the fact other people seem to like it has always amazed me.

And we`re skateboarders right? We can`t help but be creative, It`s in the soul..

One think I like about true genuine people is that even though they’re given a lot of compliments about their work os anything else is that they still seem to be surprised and amazed about the comments.

Well I wouldn’t call myself a skateboarder just quite yet, even though I own a skateboard & a longboard doesn’t mean I am a skater. I’ve ddone it for 3 years now, but only sliding on them.. haven’t learned tricks yet. Hope to nail an ollie soon. Your best advice?

  • Scott Robinson replied

See, I`d say that`s skateboarding, while ownership doesn`t make you a skater, riding one does.. despite tricks, despite style, You and your board are all that matters..
Hell, some of those coolest feelings I`ve ever got from skating have been just rolling in the sunshine..

Advice on ollies, and skateboarding in general, have fun, enjoy what you`re doing.. Stay loose..don`t be afraid to fall.
Ollies specifically though,. It`s a timing thing, remeber to bend your knees, and time the movements of your feet. Learn them stationary first, then do them rolling…

  • Aktasli

    Aktasli

Exactly, like packing your bag with a couple of sodas, skating down to the sea. And just roll in the sunshine, I second that. Soon the sun will shine on Sweden and I will go out and fry myself :)

Yeah I know, its the timing that is a bit difficult. It’s like driving a car. All your senses has to be seperated yet together. Got to find your balance, thats the key point. Thanks!

  • Scott Robinson replied

My pleasure, I think you`ll like it here at RB. Welcome to you too..

Who know’s maybe I get my first ollie on photo.. I’m already feeling at home. I’ll be following your art.

  • Scott Robinson replied

Do that! Your first ollie, and captured on film…

I`ll keep an eyeball out for you too.
