I am a keen fan of the series Spartacus in which I overheard (like you cannot under hear) the main character use a metaphor to describe the death of his best mates wife whom he was casually banging on a frequent basis (behind his back..i mean they both loved her like hell, it was weird, i liked it, anything in the name of love eh?
anyway it was something along the lines of
“she was the rarest of woman, a flower of beauty and compassion in a world full of shit”
…
