I started in photography in 1990 shooting mostly Kodak HIE infrared film. I now shoot IR with a converted digital camera.
In the past I did a number of Polaroid processes including SX-70 manipulations, emulsion transfers and lifts. I also like to handpaint images. My most recent interest is in an alternative process creating platinum/pallidum prints made with digital negatives. I am moving this work toward a combination of palladium over pigment prints.
My work has appeared in shows in Kentucky and has been purchased by Georgetown College and ORCCA Inc. Work on this site is for sale in a variety of sizes.
I also have galleries on a PBASE site at http://www.pbase.com/halesr
