Beautifully done image, nice conversion. Gotta love that lens. That’s my favorite lens.

  • Renee Dawson replied

Thank you very much John. I love my macro lens too but have a hard time breathing when I use it (I hold my breath too much)...lol

  • John Wright

    John Wright

LOL, Renee, that’s why I use a tripod. I can’t hold that steady.

  • Renee Dawson replied

My Canon 100-400mm lens just arrived a few days ago. I CANNOT hold that baby for any length of time. This is going to force me to bond with my tripod…finally ;)

  • John Wright

    John Wright

I’m very envious, I’ve been thinking that lens would be perfect for many many things! Right now I have the 300mm f/4 and a 1.4x converter. The 300 is awesome but I think the zoom would be much handier.

  • Renee Dawson replied

Before purchasing my first L lens I was back & forth between the 300mm f/4 and the 70-200 I don’t know how many times! My deciding factor was the ability to zoom in and out as needed. I didn’t think it would always be feasible to move my body to frame the shot with the fixed 300. I pondered the converter several times for the 70-200 as well but never did go ahead with it :)
