So beautiful, pure and clean lines. Very well done. oxoxox

  • Alexandra Jack replied

Thanks why the lines are clean is that i changed the paper I used and the pen does not bleed when used on the paper. But if you use an artists sketch book it does bleed.

Yes, I agree…this is very well done. I’d love to see you do more of these Alex. It has an oriental feel for me.

    Very nice!

There is one particular style of face, in black and white, that I used to do. I’d like to do it again, but I have never managed to draw them rigth. They were full of curves and angles at the cheekbones and eyebrows and the .. well, it’s hard to explain. They were weird, is all.

I find your versions of black and white hand drawn sharpie fun to be very inspiring to my own—well, it hasn’t happened yet, since I just saw them, but I’m sure it will.

It means on another piece of yours, we are discussing where and how to buy the best sharpies and I have pieces uploaded on here that are a few of thousands upon thousands of works done with sharpies over decades of time. Including quite a few that were on human beings and which they got made into tattoos – though, most of those were the 4 color pens, but some were sharpies or other permanent markers.

  • Alexandra Jack replied

Doing works with my sharpie pens have kept me sain in hospital they are portable and I did not need much space to use them. I was on a drip and this made my time in hospital very hard.
