A political poem for ideas of change, revolution.
Red Tie Revolution: A Poem for Change belongs to the following groups:

One that speaks to the soul, and the mind.
A revolution, that is particular, and divine.
A red tie revolution.
A revolution
Inspired by a man
Whose plan is being followed
and adored by millions.
Casually, and naturally,
He speaks from a podium to masses
Who come from all backgrounds,
from all sorts of status’s and classes.
In a calm demeanor
Barack Obama speaks of
helping this world become cleaner.
In his red tie
On the 45th anniversary
of the Martin Luther King, Jr.
I Have A Dream Speech
He reached volumes of viewers
with a message of Change.
Is it strange
That his tie usually represents
those of the other side??
Is it strange
That not, in a Blue State of mind,
He shined in the spotlight, but
in a polite way, despite the news of the day
Speaking to his “super star status.”
I went out and bought a red tie
the very next day. I had been moved
by what Barack Obama had to say.
I felt like a new man who shared in his plan
to help make our world better. No man is an island,
so I believe we can all do this together.
So, what will you do?
Will you go out and buy a red tie?
Sister, will you go out and buy a red skirt,
or dress?
So that we can all look, and do our best
To change this world together?
How about, a red tie revolution??!!
