Form is a Kind of Poetry

Over the land and across the sea
I traveled looking for thee.
As I passed people looked at me
and saw the sadness written in me

As I sat in the woods one day
A fairy saw me in dismay
with a word and a smile she did say
“I shall give you a way

Through the air on wings of love
you shall travel free
and by land as fast a you can
with the spirit of a horse I make you be”

so I ran the land and flew the sky

searching for you my love,
the other half of me.
