I’m a 5 times Piscean (Sun, Moon, Rising, Venus, Mercury) so creativity runs through my veins. My own world is my favourite place. I draw, paint, sculpt, photograph – needless to say, creating started from an early age. In 1992 I went to Art School in Newcastle where I was able to put a name to my thought processes & ideas. I majored in Photography & minored in print-making, though never felt I found my ‘groove’. I truly appreciate those that can draw/paint portraiture as it’s something I feel I have to try too hard to achieve. Given my Piscean status, true satisfaction is achieved when my imagination comes to fruition through the vessel that is me. When the product of my imagination is just as I had imagined it…. there is NOTHING better! It took me a while to realise this… now I KNOW I have found my groove :) As for my photography, I like to think I see the beauty in everything.

After graduating from Art School, I came to the realisation that I didn’t want to live the poor starving artist lifestyle. So I went back to school & studied Business, majoring in Marketing. A strategic move to learn the craft of marketing to then employ that knowledge to my art. Whilst studying, I painted street murals in Brisbane with a brush :) (side tracking the bureaucracy that surrounds galleries by taking my art directly to the streets – to this day I receive emails from appreciative onlookers). I have also donated works to charities. 10 years into the corporate world of marketing, here I am, blessed to have crossed the path of Rose Moxon, taking the first step to bringing my dream to reality. My own website will soon follow – watch this space.
