The God of Irony and Why He Had Me Punished

It seems no matter why I try
Irony is always standing by
To thwart me as I try to stand
And send me crashing back to land

I tried to go out and have one drink in a bar to celebrate with friends…I got stomped on…right on my ankle…right where the initial injury that caused my RSD happened.

It hurt.

A lot.

fuck, honey you`re in the wars big time….are you involved with some sort of online support with people who are also dealing with this illness?

I’m so gonna make RSD wave that little white flag before I do… ;)

There is a really great community of RSD-ers on facebook, they have been wonderful for support and to learn from also, it’s kind of the only place we can compare symptoms and that sort of thing, some people have been suffering for literally decades and spent most of that time being told it was all in their heads, now we can learn each others’ stories and see how similar they are…without the internet I’d go crazy!! Thanks so much for your support, my ankle is still killing me today but at least the crazy heat from yesterday is gone!! xx
