Ada taught me that I was not using strong enough paper, thus she got a little worn and buckled. She was hard to photograph and had to be cut out of her background thus her edges looking a little digital rather than painty…

thank you!! the colours have always kind of chosen themselves for me, I recently discovered that I have synesthesia (where your brain kind of mixes one perception in with another, I see colours with things like days of the week, numbers & music) and I’m starting to think the colours are some sort of subconscious representation of what I know about the person who’s imaginaiad I’m drawing…That’s been fascinating me recently!
