Dad is the green fingered one and he’s asleep so I can’t ask him what this is . Taken in the garden yesterday.

I am a 53 year old ageing Hippy with a love of nature . A romantic at heart but sadly single. I used to be a decorator but since my father became ill I have given up my business to care for him full time . When I have time to myself I like nothing more than to get out into the woods or the countryside and capture the sights around me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I see. Thanks for viewing. It is the Colorado state flower, so I should know it at any angle!
Thanks Christine , what a wonderful state , I have always said there are two places in the USA that I want to visit [ when I win the lottery that is ] the first Colorado and the second New England in the autumn [ fall ] .
