Spotted these posts today while walking down the lane to the shop. Every now and then a shower of snow would fall from a branch in the sun light like fairy dust. You had to see it, but it looked quite magical.
I stood there for some time watching and clicking away with the camera . I got this shot and a man and his family came by. We chatted and I explained what it was I was trying to capture. He offered to walk down to the second tree and give it a shake to help me out. What I didn’t think about was the tree I was standing under was loaded with snow and of course as soon as he started shaking the tree I got completely covered . We had a good laugh and I thanked him for his help’.
I learned a lesson , never try to rush nature just let it do its thing in its own time.

I am a 53 year old ageing Hippy with a love of nature . A romantic at heart but sadly single. I used to be a decorator but since my father became ill I have given up my business to care for him full time . When I have time to myself I like nothing more than to get out into the woods or the countryside and capture the sights around me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I see. Thanks for viewing. Kind regards Mark.

Great shot and a funny story!….guess this means no more new mushroom finds for awhile :-)
I think I would need a mushroom detector Rusty. Still have a few shots left to post from the season. Had enough of this snow and winter has just started. Many thanks.

The view is GORGEOUS! Mark from where I sit, just happy I don’t have to shovel my way out. Love the way the sunlight is filtering through the mist of snow…Jules
Thanks Jules, over night rain has turned everything to mush so no need to do more shovelling . I will let nature do the work.
